This amazing image reveals something so captivating and inspiring for me.

What a wonder hidden underneath the places we are walking daily.

While I'm focused on one plain diminished view with a limited visibility perspective there are a billion unique treasures within reach; if only we would just look a little closer.

Most of the time we are consumed with the moment we are in. Trudging through the problems and pressures of the day; challenges, deadlines that roll one after another.

Yet right between our toes, below the surface of the mundane, predictable, monotone schedules and things that seem to slow our progress are uncountable jewels.

Tiny specks of artful design and intricate beauty stuck to our soles (souls??)

The footprints mark how far we have journeyed but we are missing miniscule wonders that declare our circumstances are more than we see, and much vaster than we could fathom. Every step counts more than the measure of its distance.

"How precious are your thoughts to me O God!...if I should count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand."
