Sometimes God invites us to grow by staying in the uncomfortable.
"A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up."
Ecclesiastes 3:3
Not all seasons are life seasons!

This might make you uncomfortable, but not all seasons are life seasons. We are usually praying for good health, success, and growth.
These are all excellent things to aim for and pray for, but there are seasons when there is destruction and removal.
We usually feel like we just have to endure them or that they are to ‘build character’ (which may be true), but the challenge is the word PURPOSE.

If it means ‘desire,’ then does God have a desire to remove or kill things in our lives?
Why would he remove something that maybe He even planted?
What would be the purpose of that?
Not all things planted are forever! We think that because God planted or started something, it must be permanent, but even life itself isn’t permanent. It only has an appointed time with an appointed ending.
A season of healing, planting, or rebuilding can’t happen when there are other things in the way!
How can you receive healing if you don’t kill the bacteria and infection that made you sick?
How can you plant in a crowded, overgrown garden?
How can there be space to build if it is occupied by something else?
We might not know his desire or purpose at all! But we can't pray and ask for the new things to be planted or the healing restoration if we refuse to surrender to the process of removal or killing.
Can we still trust this season’s process without fully understanding the WHY?
🌾 Reflection Questions
What situations in your life right now feel uncomfortable or uncertain? How might God be using them to grow you?
How do you usually respond when you feel stretched or challenged? Do you resist or lean in?
Are there areas where you’ve been asking God for change, but He’s first inviting you to stay and grow through the hard parts?
