Tangles

I came across this picture a few weeks ago and saved it to my phone.

Somehow it resonates with me, with life...

Tangled challenges I don't know how to overcome, knots that refuse to loosen, messiness that just seems to sum up the disappointments.

I want to 'fix' it....unravel the intricate web and find the solution but some things seem to get tighter as you touch & pull them...1 tangle is attached to another and another-all woven together without release.

It seems quicker and easier to just cut out the knots to save the painstaking effort required to work through each one...yet each has it's own story.

Removal rips vital pages from the book. Deleting destroys the delicate details of all we have faced and all we are yet still to become....with a bit more time, patience and perseverence...

If only we would focus not at the complicated mess but the beautiful resilience of the thread...still intact, unbroken by the strains.

There is more to see than the failures, for the entire thread declares:

"I am undefeated!"
